About me

Hello! I’m Daniela — the teacher behind The Art Garden. I ran The Art Garden for 8 years in London, with a growing number of students of all age groups, alongside experience running baby sensory classes.

I have been running sensory sessions for the past year in Singapore, with lovely groups of babies & toddlers.

I am a graduate of Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Art, with an MA in Fine Art and a BA in Theatre Design.

I never thought I would use my theatre design skills or fine art skills to create tiny worlds for little ones or watch kids smile as they create something they are proud of, but there is nothing more meaningful to me!

Most of all I love making connections with the kids I teach, and finding ways in which art can help them build confidence, overcome daily challenges and provide a channel for creativity — expressing emotions, thoughts and ideas, and providing sensory release. Art can be a medium through which all kinds of learning happens in an engaging way.
